What we collect when you convert a photograph into a 3D model, how long we keep it, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
Three things: the account details you give us when you sign up (your email address and workspace name), the photographs and fabric references you upload, and ordinary technical logs such as IP address and browser type that any web server records.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
How long we keep your files
Uploads are working material, not something we hoard. Each artifact has a retention window tied to what it is for:
- Source photographs and fabric references are deleted once the job that used them has finished processing.
- Fabric previews are kept for 30 days, which is the window in which you might still be choosing between them.
- Finished 3D models are kept for as long as your account is open, because they are what you paid for.
- Generation settings — a few hundred bytes recording how a model was built — are kept so a model can be rebuilt exactly if a file is ever lost.
What we do not do
- We do not use your photographs or generated models to train any model, ours or anyone else’s.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not make your uploads or models public. Nothing you generate is visible to another customer.
Who else processes your data
To generate a model we send your photograph and your material description to our generation providers. They process it to return a result and are contractually barred from using it for anything else. We also use ordinary infrastructure providers for hosting, file storage, database, email, and payments.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Write to sales@3dfurnituremaker.com and we will action it within 30 days.
